My latest work has been taking place in a work environment, my work environment. Lately, I have not been doing many news stories but still been doing stories. Am I starting to steer toward doing more editorial and documentary work? I feel very unfair and unsatisfied with covering news stories as the stories come. Like the recent shooting at a strip mall in Allen, Texas. Should I have gone? Maybe, but why? When are there going to be others taking the same images? I want to go deeper; I want to understand why something happens, who it affects, and who can help change things. These images are of some of the work photos I have been taking. I am currently living in a new town in Texas which is making me want to focus on the fall of rural towns.
