At the start of the spring, a raceway of trout swim away from the current where they are released to another pool with older and bigger fish. 6/19/21-Roaring River State Park, Missouri. Constructed in 1910, the Roaring River State Park Trout Hatchery is one of the oldest in the state of Missouri. The hatchery releases 1200 fish a day for fishermen to catch with a tag of four per person. The spring the fish swim is Missouriâ€™s 20th largest spring that produces 20.4 million gallons of water a day.
